I'm one of those people that's never really had a thing. I'm not especially, stand-out good at anything, I don't really have any talents as such and growing up I seriously felt that. I play the comparison game way too much as it is, and when I was younger it was even worse. I played the trumpet but there was someone better than me and I wasn't really that good. I was awful at sports, I couldn't understand music or sing, in art class I was consistently one of the worst and academically I was only ever mediocre and average in my classes. I wasn't particularly pretty or outgoing or confident either, I didn't have loads of friends and I wasn't part of the popular group who were friends with the boys from the school over the road. Nothing I did ever really stood out or got any attention - basically, I've been a bit average my whole life and I've always felt that. I think some of it is due to seven years at grammar schools which put a massive amount of academic pressure on you, and I'm also convinced part of it comes from being a middle child - middle child syndrome is real, don't fight me. 

Things changed a lot when I left my first secondary school and started somewhere fresh for sixth form. I'd started my blog at this point and I'd begun to feel I was quite good at writing and being a helping hand for people who needed it. But the other thing that I'd fallen in love with at that point was makeup. I started wearing makeup when I was around fourteen - at my first school we weren't allowed to wear it until Year 10 so I didn't really know much about makeup until then. But I loved watching YouTube videos and reading beauty blogs and that's where my appreciation for makeup started. I discovered facepainting and SFX when I was about sixteen and that's when I felt that makeup was really becoming my thing. I went from strength to strength when I learned how to do winged eyeliner in December 2015 (genuinely it changed my life) and this is I guess where I really fell in love with the art of makeup.

I started my Instagram account and people actually seemed to like my SFX stuff and my bodypainting, and even crappy close up pictures of my eye makeup of the day and I genuinely remember feeling so excited because I thought I'd finally found my thing. And turns out I had - I started getting more followers and my friends at school used to wait to see what makeup I'd wear that day, which glitter I'd use or if I did blue eyeliner. I remember one teacher telling me that my blue eyeliner was 'perhaps a little too bright for school' and I nearly gaped, astonished at her audacity. As I said earlier, I've never been a particularly outgoing person in terms of my demeanour or the clothes I wear and at that point makeup became the way I expressed myself - I wore glittery eyeshadow and blue eyeliner because I loved it, I loved the process of doing my makeup in the morning, half an hour of complete solidarity all to myself. I looked forward to doing it each morning and taking a picture and posting it on Instagram. I think the point where I really went makeup is MY thing was when I got voted 'best eyebrows' and 'best makeup' in my Year 13 yearbook polls last year!! The euphoria was real, kids.

University only developed my love - while I stopped bodypainting because I didn't want to be 'weird' I discovered that Manchester is much more open to crazy colourful eyeshadow and cool eyeliner than my little southern town is, and now that's my norm, it's actually rare to see me in neutral colours and no winged eyeliner now! And honestly, the online beauty community has just been wonderful - the inspiration and support I get online is madness and I feel like I'm in such a good place with my skills right now. I still have so much to learn but I'm getting better and learning more with each look I do and each look that gets more and more support just gives me even more confidence in myself and my skills and my 'thing' and the fact I have a thing - and it feels bloody brilliant.

Oh - and just to keep me humble and to remind everyone that practise is EVERYTHING (and having way too much time on my hands) here's a five year throwback.

Staple Summer Makeup Products

Hello from very sunny and very beautiful Mallorca!! I am in fact writing this while sat in my kitchen, still stuck in dingy England, however I'm trying to go on a bit of a social media detox this week so therefore I'm scheduling lots of content now #realblogger #organised !!

So today I thought I'd show you some of my staple summer makeup items - I haven't done a makeup post in so long so thought it was about time. If you want to see some of the looks I do with these products you can head on over to my Instagram - serving fresh looks constantly! I did want to call this post 'my travel makeup bag' because if you're anywhere near as addicted to makeup as me you'll know the struggles of only taking a portion of your makeup collection on holiday rather than the entire thing, so I've only got my staples here with me so thought I'd chat a little about them.

Sleek 'Life's A Peach' blush

You'd be right in thinking I use this as an eyeshadow more often than not! It's such a soft peachy orange colour and looks gorgeous blended into the crease as a transition shade before layering darker oranges and pinks on top. The texture is so soft and it actually looks lovely as a blusher too, but I did buy it purely for the eyeshadow qualities!! Because it's a blusher, it doesn't pack quite as much pigment as an eyeshadow would but that also means it's incredibly buildable.

NYX Strobe of Genius palette

I love love love these highlighters - a gorgeous glow is definitely a must have for the summer and this palette offers so much choice. The golden white one is perfect for an all over glow, I use the bronzey pinky one as a blush and the lilac one looks beautiful with pink-toned eyeshadows. Just love it really. I'm the type of person that literally puts highlighter everywhere and it stays so wonderfully on my collarbones and shoulders too (I did mean everywhere)

Jeffree Star 'Rose Matter' liquid lipstick

This is a shade I've recently fallen in love with, I've had it for ages but it's quite a bright pink so felt quite self-conscious in it, but recently whipped it out again and have been loving it!! It goes with so many different eye looks and is such a lovely shade of pink, not too bright but not too dark, just the perfect petal shade. It's already a well known fact that the JS liquid lipsticks are my favourite formulas, I could wax lyrical for so long about them!

NYX Vivid Bright eyeliners

I loooove my colours when it comes to summer and one of the best products for adding a pop of colour to a normal eye look are these eyeliners - they apply so easily, the colours are so pigmented and they honestly can transform anything. The pink looks so good with Rose Matter lipstick and the bright blue compliments orangey toned eyeshadows so much, they're honestly just the perfect thing to spice up your summer makeup bag. (not all pictured bc I didn't bring them all with me hahahaha can you imagine)

Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 palette

I've loved this palette for a reeeeally long time but only just managed to figure out how to wear birght colours and make them look good - I kind of can't go a day without using this palette now! The yellow and orange look so cool blended out together and with the purple all over the lid. I'm still not sure about the greens and blues but I'm getting there!

A Tanner For Tanning Virgins

Can't say I'm not creative with my post titles can ya.

As the title suggests, there's a gal behind this screen who has never touched fake tan in the nearly nineteen years she's been alive. In all honesty, I've always disliked my pale skin a little but have been way too scared of tanning to go anywhere near it. There always just seemed so many types, too many rigorous steps to follow and it just didn't seem worth it to me. But, your gal's also off to Mallorca and to be honest, the Caspar-the-friendly-ghost-blinding-everyone-in-the-sun look just wasn't working for me anymore. So I hesitantly went to my little sister's bathroom cupboard, attempted to use her Bondi Sands express one before deciding it was too complicated for me, and picked up the Dove DermaSpa Summer Revived gradual tanner instead. There wasn't much left in the tube she had, just enough to do my legs, so decided to test it out...and boy. All I'm going to say is that I now know why girls who fake tan never look back - the confidence I got just from doing my legs was just insane and I immediately ordered some more on Amazon Prime to do the rest of my body.

It's official, I've stepped into the world of fake tanning and I'm never going back. And, at £5.50 for 200ml, the Dove DermaSpa is insane. I apply it straight from the shower after exfoliating and the best thing is you can apply it as a moisturiser, so just with your hands, and it doesn't go streaky!! It's gone slightly patchy around my knees, elbows, shoulders and ankles I have to say, but I'm kind of thinking that's my extremely amateur and inexperienced application more than anything else!! I didn't use it on my face, although I'm sure you could because it's actually a really good moisturiser too, since my skin has been really smooth since using it!! It also doesn't have such a gross smell, it does linger a little but it's quite nicely scented. It develops over about three hours, I've found, so would also be great for a quick tan fix. The slight downside is that it leaves a slightly sticky feel to your skin like quite a lot of body lotions do which is a bit annoying but not something that bothers me too much.

Overall, all I can say is that I'm thoroughly enjoying being a slightly darker gal for once, it seems to make everything look better on me and gives me some actual muscle definition as well, so what can I say other than I'm impressed?? A tube of fake tan and confidence all in one and therefore a winner in my eyes.

Current Skincare Routine

Hi everyone!! I thought for today's post I'd change it up a little bit and go back to my beauty post roots and do a skincare routine!

I'm a lucky girl in the sense that I've never had particularly problem skin, in that it's always been pretty clear and I've managed to stay away from hormone spots and just spots and acne in general. But, I've suffered with dry and sensitive skin for quite a few years, not to the eczema extent but especially in winter it can get very patchy and peely and just a little gross in general. Because of my skin tone as well, I get a lot of blotchiness and redness around my nose and cheeks, again more pronounced in extreme weather conditions.

I don't tend to change my skincare up too much, since I stick to products my skin likes and if I change it too much it gets kind of angry at me, hence why I've never done one of these posts, but I thought it'd be quite fun to guide you through mine and tell you the products I've found to work the best for my skin type and sensitivity.

Water!!

The first "product" we'll start out with, however basic, is water. I try and drink two litres every day and it does wonders for my dryness, and as well as that, instead of cleansing every day I just splash some on my face morning and evening and we're golden.

Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water

This is one of those genius new makeup removers that has a layer of oil on top and you simply shake the two components together before soaking a cotton pad and gently taking off your makeup. I use this firstly so that my eyelids (one of THE dryest parts of my face) get a little bit of an oil boost, and also because it just dissolves makeup so well. I'm rough enough taking my makeup off as it is, as I tend to do it as quickly as possible because it's simply a job I don't like doing! But I do always do it and this makeup remover makes it a much gentler job for me and much less effort. It's also pretty cheap too!

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Cleansing Oil

When I do cleanse my face, this is what I use. I do this two or three times a week just to get some more moisture into my skin, and this product is definitely the best oil cleanser I've tried. I did try the L'Oreal one too, and while I like it, it leaves a sticky residue that I don't feel I get with the Palmer's one. This one also smells amazing and is cheaper than the L'Oreal one which is always nice, and makes a really lovely foamy lather on your face too. It also does a really great job at removing any residue makeup that the makeup remover doesn't quite grab.

L'Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturiser for Dry & Sensitive Skin

I've been meaning to do a review for this moisturiser for the longest time because I just love it! Before you come at me, I am of course aware that L'Oreal is not a cruelty free makeup brand, and while there isn't really an excuse, I am just going to say I bought this when it was a third off the price in Boots, and because I'm a student I do tend to go for the cheapest products I can get rather than putting anything else as high priority - please don't think this makes me a bad person! I know there are other moisturisers that do the same sort of thing as this for the same normal price but considering it was reduced I did just go for it as it was the cheapest. That aside, this product genuinely is fantastic and it's honestly worked wonders for my skin this winter. My dryness is seriously reduced, plus it did the most fantastic job at minimising my sunburn peeling after I stupidly didn't wear suncream on a skiing holiday! Definitely will not be going back to normal cream moisturisers after using this, I am completely sold on the liquid gel formula ones now.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2%

This is one of those products that I never would have put in a skincare routine as I've always been one to keep it as simple as possible, with a moisturiser, makeup remover and a cleanser. I don't tend to faff around with eye creams and toners and whatever but when I was looking through The Ordinary on BeautyBay, this caught my eye as I've heard lactic acid in small concentrations is really good for evening skin tone and getting rid of dryness so thought I'd give this a go and so far so good! I'm definitely noticing a difference in my skin tone and my dry patches have definitely been reduced too!

The Ordinary Skincare | A Wee Review

Hello guys and gals!! So following my last slightly heavier blog post I thought I'd lighten things up a little and get back to the reason why I started blogging in the first place and go for a fun post about The Ordinary skincare and makeup.

The Ordinary is a brand I'd never heard of before but came across when I was scrolling through Beauty Bay and decided to give it a go, given that their serum foundation was only £5.75 and placed an order there and then. I only picked up three products because broke buttt the ones I did pick up I do absolutely love!! 

Favourite Winter Lipsticks

Wow. This is possibly one of the most generic blog posts ever during autumn/winter. But you know what, I'm a cliche blogger so I'm going to do it anyway!!

All of these lipsticks (apart from three), as you probably will have guessed, are indeed liquid lipsticks. I just don't seem to get on with normal stick lipsticks anymore. Liquid ones are so much easier to apply and much more long wearing and the best part is you just don't have to worry about smearing when you eat or drink!!

a fun autumn makeup look!

Hello everybody and welcome to my first blogpost in a while!!

Today I'm sharing these fun photos with you because this is a tutorial I filmed a while ago but have only just got round to editing and uploading (was uploaded today at 11am)

I mean, I do enjoy a LOT how well the eyeshadow matches the wall of my uni room, I think that's pretty cool and completely unintentional haha. Also s/o to Lily who gave out some handy photo editing tips in a recent post about how to get that lovely warm tone to photos, hopefully I'll have a few more to try it out on soon, as you can probably tell these got very red but I'm kind of enjoying it anyway?? I'm still trying to get my head around the ins and outs of colour theory but I'm liking having a new thing to focus on. Gives me a nice distraction from the bore that is Great Expectations, that's for sure.

The End Of Another Era

You might remember that about two years ago I wrote a blog post called The End Of An Era, which I wrote at the end of Year 11 and after I'd done my GCSEs. Well lads, the time has come to do it again , as I've now finished Year 13, which means I'm simply just done with education, which is an extremely weird thing. You can read my post exam thoughts here if you're interested!

Anyway, the end of Year 13 obviously brings the Leaver's Ball, or prom as it's more commonly called, and I thought I'd write a lil post just talking about the night and so on. I was only at my last school for two years, but at the end of the day it's still pretty heartbreaking to be leaving behind some of the closest friends I've ever made. It's also pretty gutting that I never managed to have a conversation with approximately 75% of my year too though...

Anyway jokes aside, onto the more trivial things...

So my dress was from JS Boutique, I actually bought it ages and ages ago for a different black-tie 18th which I ended up wearing something much less formal to, but I kept this for prom so I didn't have to bother with searching for one. I did find a different dress, a coord set from Boohoo which I was going to wear but decided not to because body issues ygm. Thought I'd go for something a little more comfortable for me and within my comfort zone!

Thought I'd chuck in a few lovely photos of my lovely lovely friends because they are the BEST ever.

I did my hair and makeup myself, my hair I literally chucked into a messy bun and put lots of product in my hair to stop it frizzing and that was basically it. My makeup took a lil longer but I loved how it turned out! I went with a pinky/brown smoky half cut crease with some champagne glitter because honestly, if you can't cover your eyes in glitter for prom when can you?! I'll put makeup details over on my makeup Instagram soon, and I'll try and film a makeup tutorial on this look soon because I loved it so much.

At the end of the day, prom was a fun night with a lotta laughs even though me and my mate Jensen were the only ones who couldn't go out afterwards since we're not 18, so we went back to mine afterwards with plans to watch High School Musical but we were both exhausted so decided not to in the end and just went to sleep. Wouldn't have been able to hack the sesh even if I'd been able to *cry laugh emoji over and over*. Two of my close friends Joel and Abbie won Prom King and Queen as well which was absolutely perfect as they are both such wonderful people.

The worst part of prom was the fact I had to get up and go to a five hour shift at work (yes ya gal got a job in a lil eco farm cafe near where I live) the next day - on my feet, all day, my still aching feet from wearing a pair of stupidly high heels all night.

Fab night with fab people and here's to a fab summer.

Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow Review!

Hey everyone!

Today's post is about the Colourpop Super Shock eyeshadows, as promised in my January beauty favourites post! I now have six of these, which I've collected in two batches. Me and my friends actually do group orders of Colourpop products to avoid the huge shipping and customs charge so it's a great way of doing it, but I'll talk a little more about how you can get round those costs later.

Where to even start with these eyeshadows?! First off, the pigmentation (bar one but I'll talk about that later) is insane. You literally need one swipe of this stuff and it is so super pigmented that you just don't need anymore. Even Wattles, which is a matte shade, is super pigmented.

The only one that was a bit of a disappointment to me was Central Perk. I bought it because I didn't have any other colours like it, and such a deep burgundy really appealed to me for the autumn time, and I thought it would look insane with the gold shade as a halo eye. But then it arrived and it just seemed really dry and I could hardly pick up any product at all on my brush or my finger. Did anyone else have this problem with this shade or is it just me? I feel like it's just me because I looked at swtahces etc on Pinterest and elsewhere and it seemed to be exactly like the others. Slightly disappointed with it but it's no biggie because the other five blew my mind,



The consistency of these is weird - it's like a mix between a powder and a gel. Swatching them on your finger feels like you're dipping your finger into butter or something super soft but they're definitely a powder formula. One thing I would say is that you have to treat them more lke cream eyeshadows - if you leave the lid off for a long time they do dry out which is what's happened to my Tassel colour, and I did think that was what had happened to Central Perk but that arrived really weird so I don't know about that. Anyway.



These are much better applied with your fingers, however I find Wattles blends really well into my crease with the NYX 17 crease brush which is my favourite favourite crease brush ever. They are just so hugely metallic and shimmery and just add something so special to a look. I'm just quickly going to go into each shade (apart from Central Perk soz) into detail and give you some ideas for how to wear them etc.



Tassel a bright white with silver and hints of gold glitter - I love to use this in my inner corner and even as a highlight when I'm feeling super sparkly. You can see me wearing it in this post



Sequin a metallic pinky copper shade with blue and silver duochrome - I like to wear this all over my lid with Wattles in the crease for a super lowkey look, as you can see in this post again!



Weenie I don't have any pictures of this but it's a metallic rose gold, and part of the KathleenLights Where The Night Is collection. I like this in the centre of the lid with some darker pinks in the outer and inner corner for a bit of a more interesting and sparkly halo eye.



Wattles a beige peachy pink colour, with more of a matte/satin finish. This is such a perfect crease shade and also I love wearing this all over the lid with some glitter eyeliner, as you can see here and here



KathleenLights again, part of a KathleenLights collection, as the name suggests, but this time the Where The Light Is collection. This is the most beautiful bright bright golden copper colour and I love wearing this with orangey browns from the Morphe 35O palette (here), or with Red Ochre from the ABH MR palette for a halo eye.




So there we go - a review of some of the most beautiful eyeshadows I own. They only cost $5 each which works out at about £4, which is an absolute steal. However, the only snag is the $25 shipping charge and the customs charge you get hit with can bring the price of an order up massively. I bought Wattles, Sequin, Weenie and Tassel in a 24 hour free international shipping offer they did in November, which do pop up occasionally but I only caught it in the last 25 minutes, and KathleenLights and Central Perk I bought in a $5 shipping offer they did! These offers do pop up every now and then so it's a good idea to follow them on social media because that's where they tend to advertise them, especially Twitter I find! Like I said, me and my friends also do big group orders, there's about 11 of us who chip in so we get off the customs and shipping, our last order was $381 but we only got a £66 customs charge which was great, so we didn't have to pay that much. I'm pretty certain there are also those companies that order for you to an address in the USA and then they send it to you here for lower rates, which is how a lot of people got hold of Colourpop before they shipped to the UK, and also how people get Kylie Cosmetics for cheaper shipping too, so those might be worth looking into if the bank will be broken by the extortionate extra costs!

January Beauty Favourites 2017

here's a nice picture of my mum's birthday flowers that have been brightening up our kitchen on these dreary february days!!

Hello everyone! I'm only a few days late with this one which I'm very happy about hahaha! Finally getting on top of this?!

So my first favourite I'm going to talk about are Colourpop eyeshadows. Because I'm addicted I now have six of these (me and my friends do group orders to get round the huge shipping and customs charges lol). I'm doing a post about these soon, so I'll tell you more about my shades in that, but I have Tassel, Sequin, Weenie (the one in this picture), Wattles, KathleenLights and Central Perk. They are super creamy and super super pigmented, especially the glittery ones which just pack such a metallic punch of colour on the eyelid and they're just so special for a more interesting look. The only one I'm not so impressed with is Central Perk, as it just seems a lot dryer and not at all as pigmented, so I don't know if anyone else has had that problem with that particular shade?

My second beauty favourite is the Morphe 35K palette. I have had one Morphe palette, the 35O for about six months now and love it so so much, so I asked for this for Christmas and my lovely parents got it for me along with a bunch of brushes which I'll talk about a bit later. It does not disappoint, and is just as amazing quality as the 35O. The shimmer shades are slightly more pigmented but that's always to be expected, but the mattes aren't chalky and there isn't much kickup at all which is always a winner for me, as it just makes your makeup so messy! This palette, if you're into blues and browns, is the only eyeshadow palette you'll ever need. There's so so many different looks you can do with it and so much variety. Plus, it's 35 eyeshadows for £22.95 on Beauty Bay. Morphe palettes are such a steal, I swear to God!

Here we have the Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks...again, I'm obsessed. My best friend Rach introduced me to these and I wore her Unicorn Blood to a party back in September, and instantly fell in love with it, hardly daring to believe I'd found a red lipstick that actually suits me! (a more detailed post with swatches is coming up!) So then Rach bought Unicorn Blood for me as a lil present when I was having a difficult couple of weeks, and I was hooked haha. I then asked for some for Christmas (yes, my whole Christmas list was makeup...) and my parents gave me Celebrity Skin, and my grandparents gave me Androgyny and Rose Matter. So, so, so grateful for it :)) I've always said that most of my makeup I do buy myself, my parents don't make a habit of  funding my makeup addiction (and I did a paper round for three years to fund it myself!) but when Christmas and my birthday roll around I do like to ask for some more high end bits and bobs. 

My favourite out of the four I've got has definitely got to be Celebrity Skin. Like I've found my perfect red in Unicorn Blood, I've found my perfect nude in this one. The formula, scent and staying power of all of them are just insane and they are definitely the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I've ever worn! They are slightly drying after a while but that's to be expected with any matte liquid lipstick. In the UK you can find them on Beauty Bay!

So my final beauty favourites are these brushes from Morphe. The bottom five are the ones I got for Christmas and then the top one, the MB16, I got myself a couple of weeks ago. I use all of them every day pretty much and adore them, perhaps with the exception of the E14, just because I don't often pack one colour all over - but I do like to use it for a browbone highlight. The E13 I use to pop a powder all over my lid to set my primer, the E24 for highlighting my inner corner, the E17 for concentrating colours into the outer corner and my crease, the B83 for putting one colour in the inner third of my lid and the MB16 for running colours under my lower lashline. Honestly, with just these six brushes you can do a whole eye look which is so great. They're also really really affordable, and such great quality brushes for the price. I've washed all of them twice and they haven't shed yet which is also a winner. You can find them on Beauty Bay in the UK!

Also, just wanted to say that I'm going on my school ski trip this half term, so I set off on Friday! I am going to be scheduling posts over the week then so you won't miss out! I'm super excited because, as I'm in Year 13, it's my last chance to go on a school ski trip, which I've never done before even though I've been skiing since I was about five! I'm also excited to have a little break from life in general as everything's been very hectic lately, but that's only to be expected four months before A Levels, am I right?!

City Of Stars, La La Land

Hello everyone! It's me, back again with a little post about this makeup look I came up with a couple of weeks ago. It's loosely inspired by La La Land, which I haven't seen yet but I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD! However, you all know how much I love a good musical so I've listened to the whole soundtrack twelve times over and love every single thing about it. 

So obviously, this is inspired by City of Stars as it's my favourite song from the soundtrack. Hope you like it!

I've kind of been stuck in a bit of a rut recently, and I wanted to go out of my comfort zone a little because I've not really been that adventurous as of late. But, I did get three new Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes today so I'm going to play around with them and hopefully come up with some new ideas, which you can keep up with on my makeup Instagram because I post a lot more over there!

Something A Little Prettier

Okay, so here's the post I was actually going to put up yesterday but decided to write something else lol

I did this bodypaint a few weeks ago in an evening when my parents weren't home (it sounds worse than it is - it's easier to do when they're not around because they laugh too much at me!), and I wanted to do something really kind of intricate and detailed and just pretty because I hardly ever do things like that and it's something I enjoy doing. I'm getting my fair share of disgusting SFX stuff from Phantom of the Opera at the moment, which we're putting on at school and yours truly is making all the prosthetics! It's the biggest piece of prosthesia I've ever done so I'm very excited. But as I said, that's fulfilling my slightly twisted, gory side so I thought I'd try and do something a bit prettier.

I've been super inspired lately by the work of Elsa Rhae, who's a bodypainter I watch on YouTube, and she's so ridiculously talented and I'm in love with her work. She does a lot of henna/menhi inspired art and I've kind of fallen in love with it too. It does test my artistic ability a lot more than my normal art, as it's so detailed and intricate, but that's what I love about it - it really pushes me to try and do the best I can.

So hold your breath, lads - there's a long product list for this one.

Eyes:

- Urban Decay Half Baked on the lid, Blackout in the crease and Snakebite to blend it all out and repeated on the lower lashline, with Half Baked in the inner corner

- Zoeva gel liner topped up with L'Oreal Superliner

- Diego Dalla Palma Lash Booster mascara (literally my favourite mascara ever)

- Eylure and Fleur De Force Fleur Loves lashes (yep, still in love with these eyelashes)

- NYX Tame and Frame brow pomade

Face:

- Urban Decay Half Baked on the centre of the lips

Body:

- Mehron black Paradise Paint

- Gold from iMagic flash palette (because I don't have $99 to spend on the real deal haha)

"I'm Known For Being Quite Vexing."

Hey there puddins it's ya girl Harley Quinn!

Okay so who's excited for Suicide Squad?! I can't wait to go and see it, I've been waiting for so long and now that it's finally here I'm itching to go! I thought I'd have a lil go at the Harley makeup from it because I honestly adore it so much, being a makeup designer on that film must have been so much fun! For those of you who didn't know, that's basically the exact job I want - to be doing film and theatrical makeup on things like Suicide Squad where I can really push myself and test my limits. I love working under pressure, for some reason my work is always better when I have a time limit, it just gets my adrenaline going and my creative brain just works so much better. Working on film sets would basically be a dream come true for me.

Details
Heart and "Rotten" drawn with NYX Super Skinny Marker - this was possibly the most difficult part of the whole thing. Writing letters on your face in a mirror is terrifyingly hard, hence why it looks a little crap :') ah well, I tried!
